Science
Science is the means to understand the world. Science is our collective knowledge of the physical world or any knowledge gained through systematic study, observation and experimentation. Science seeks to base understanding on evidence, logic and rationality rather than opinion or ideology. Mathematics is the language of science and provides a framework that facilitates observation, thought and communication of scientific ideas.

Technology
Technology is the way humans adapt to their environments. Technology refers to the making, modification, usage, and knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems, and methods of organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a preexisting condition, achieve a goal, or perform a specific function. Human use of technology began when people first converted natural resources into simple tools such as fire, axes, spears, levers and wheels. Recent technological developments, including the printing press, the telephone, the camera, and the Internet, have enhanced communication and allow people to interact on a global scale.

E
Engineering
Engineering is the way we construct our built environment. Engineering is the application of scientific, economic, social, and practical knowledge, in order to design, build, and maintain structures, machines, devices, systems, materials and processes. Engineers use insights to conceive, model and create an appropriate solution to a problem or objective. Engineering encompasses a range of special fields with an emphasis on electrical, structural, mechanical, chemical or other applications.

Design
Design is imagining a better world and taking the steps to achieve it. Design is the process of creation that takes place alongside engineering and production. Design is the creation of a plan for the production of images, objects, places, systems, services or experiences intended to accomplish a goal, meet a need, or solve a problem for others within constraints of function, time, cost, safety, sustainability, aesthetics, etc. in a particular social and physical context. Good design requires considering aesthetic, functional, economic and sociopolitical factors in both the finished design and the process. Design includes graphic, product, fashion, auto, architecture, landscape, interior, games, toys, exhibits, movies, theme parks, and video game design.
